Question

Michigan Divorce Assistance Needed

What is the name of your state? MICHIGAN
I have been married 25 years and my wife and i want a divorce. She sought the help of a lawyer and we both signed the papers now we have to wait the 2 month cooling off period, can anyone assist me in how long after the 2 months will a date be set, and do the courts send the date in a letter or do we have to lodge paper work again. How long generally does it take for our marriage to be dissolved.

The amount of time its going to take will depend entirely on how crowded your local court docket is.
