I am currently in the midst of a divorce. My husband is living with his girlfriend who is also in the military and in the same unit as he is. I was recently laid off and I am wondering if the military ever allows a spouse without children to be able to continue on the medical insurance for any period of time? Is this ever allowed if there are no children involved?
