missing personwhat do i need to do? if I don't the person you want to divorce is missing for a few month? and do not have any clue where the person is? what I can do instead of serving the papers? |

| In Indiana, you can do service by publication. What this means here is that you run an ad three times in a newspaper of general circulation, stating that you are suing him for divorce and giving your missing spouse a deadline to respond. If he does not respond, you can divorce him without his knowledge or consent. You probably will be able to do service by publication in your state, but the details may vary. An attorney in your state could explain the process there. |
