mortgage under my name only (getting divorced)

What is the name of your state? texas


I live in texas and i am getting a divorce. The house that was purchased during the marriage is under both of our names but the mortgage is in my name only be cause she has bad credit. what are my options because when I leave the house I do not want the mortgage under my name anymore?

You don't have any options. Simply sell the house and pay off your mortgage obligation BEFORE you do anything.
Or make damn well sure your attorney draws up GOOD papers on her obligations.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Realistically selling the house is the more rational option....unless its crystal clear that the person keeping the house can truly afford to buy the other out and afford the new mortgage.
