Moving in with boyfriendWhat is the name of your state?Iowa My wife of 20 years now intends to move out of our house and leave me and our 16 year old daughter. She is just waiting for her boyfriend's okay to move in with him (yeah, she's a real prize). Would it be to my advantage, property and custody-wise, to file for divorce now, wait until she completes the move, or wait even longer to show that my daughter and I can make a good home together? |

| Personal opinion..... Let her move out of the house. Leaving the marital home and child behind. THEN file for the divorce.
