Moving during divorce.

Alright. I'm planning on moving from California back home to Iowa shortly after getting all of my paperwork done and filed. What kind of effect on my divorce will this have?

Tell me if I'm understanding this correctly:

If I file for divorce in CA and move to another state, will I have to re-file in that state?

What kind of time period am I looking at if I have to stay in CA?
