I am seeking a divorce from my wife. We co-own our house, but my wife wishes to refinance in her name only and keep it (buying me out of course). I've agreed to just take a third of the equity as a buy out. Living together has become unbearable for both of us. Is there something that I need to do before moving out into an apartment somewhere? I don't want to leave and then find out later that I've messed up somehow legally....
I am in New Hampshire and confused.
