What is the name of your state? PA
I am interested in advice of the pro's and cons of changing name back to maiden name after/during divorce when there are small children involved. What are the effects this may have on kids?

For the most part it doesn't have any effect on the kids. However, if you end up with primary custody you may have to prove that more often (with doctors, schools, insurance companies etc.) You tend not to be questioned when you have the same last name as the kids...you often do when you don't. Otherwise it generally doesn't have much impact.
