A Neutral Attorney

What is the name of your state? Minnesota

Unfortunately my wife of 19 years has decided to take a different path of life these days. We have agreed to who is going to get what as far as possessions. We are seperated at this point. How do I get this started? Can I pick up forms/paperwork from the state? Fill them out? Walk into an attorney (both of us) and make it all legal?

After 19 years its really wiser (and safer) for you each to have your own attorney.
