Never married, asset division? NC

What is the name of your state? North Carolina
My girlfriend and I bought a house together 6 years ago. We have no kids, separate checking, savings, vehicles and credit cards. She has moved out and it is time to take care of the house. I have paid all of the house payments, insurance, taxes and improvements fully from day one. Both names are on the deed to the house. What is she entitled to? We have no formal agreement on division of assets.

She is 1/2 owner of the house. Therefore she is entitled to 1/2 of the proceeds from the sale. There is simply no way around that unless she agrees differently. It would be no different than joint ownership with a stranger.
