Hello to all- State of South Carolina, County Abbeville. Filing no contest, 1 yr sep. Divorce. Spouse whereabouts unknown. Summons has been attempted by Sheriff's office, by Certified Letter to last known address and now in the 2nd week of posting notice in local paper. (Must run 3 consec. weeks). My question, Do I have to wait 30 days from the date of the last posting in the paper before I can request court date, or does the 30 days start with the 1st attempt at serving the summons with the Sheriff's office?
(All other forms have been filed and accepted with the clerk of court)
Thanks for the help here - Charlton
