What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania
my divorce was settled almost 6 years ago. in the settlement he was to pay for a bill. he never did. he filed for bankrupcy last year, and now they're after me. can i take to to court? small claims or family court?

My response:

Nope. Federal Bankruptcy "trumps" State court orders all the time. There's nothing you or the judge can do about it. In short, you're stuck with the bill.
