I am divorcing my wife after I found out that she was cheating on me and her marriage was only for legal reasons

I need anyones advise on how best to proceed. I know that in NY you have to have 1 year Separation Agreement to get divorce papers finalized. Do I really need to wait that long, maybe there is another option since I am just married for 3 months. Could annulment work for me? Some say that it takes longer to get annulment than divorce, is this true? Or I just have to go thru regular divorce.
If divorce is the choice, what best ground is to pick Separation or Abandoment?
