    NYS divorce info needed

    I want to start divorce proceedings with my husband. I live in New York State. He does not want to leave the house. My question is, do I have any legal standing once I file for divorce to get him to leave? It is very stressfull with him there...and I know that the divorce could take months.

    Why don't you leave the house , since you want a divorce ?

    What is going on other than you want a divorce ?

    She wants a divorce, plain and simple and that's that, AND, the judicial system will make sure that her husband pays for her irresponsibility, just like he has been doing all along!!

    bali where in the world did you get that she is "irresponsible" or that "he" has been paying for anything nothing in her posts suggests either of those two things. now, they may end up being true, but for now, you are just making crap up!

    all we know is: 1) she wants a divorce and 2) she wants hubby out of house.

    for all you know he is a deadbeat and she is the breadwinner and makes all the money and he is irresponsible and wants to live off her.
