Off Topic but help Having girlfriend move in

Kind of off topic but please advice...

I am thinking of having my girlfriend move in to my house. We are looking at her giving me $1000-$1200 a month for help on the bills...

My question is if she moves in for a year and we break up would she be entitled to equity in the house?

Half of the bills would run about 250-300 a month... Which would leave about $800 for rent/house... rent in my area is about $800-$1000 + utilities a month for a place 1/4 the size of my house and in an area not nearly as safe...

No. She would just be paying rent to you.

Thank you... Does it have to be called rent or if we just money to live there?? Is it legal matter if I do not call it rent?
