What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?MA

Going through a divorce and have offshore properties which were acquired after marriage with the help of financial contributions from parents living in that country. Myself and my wife dont seem to agree on the valuations and % of stake for parents. Can the jurisdiction of the asset separation for offshore property be moved to the foreign country as my parents who have the stake in the property as per the laws there are not in a position to come to US.

thanks for your help

US courts do not have legal standing to enforce foreign investments disputes. Refer to the following link regarding the Calvo Doctrine.

So the court attempted to exceed its authority and he refused to play. Kudo's to him. His lawyer should have taken it over the judges head as a civil rights violation.

The problem with that is judges are given the power to violate civil rights on a hunch.
