Ohio advice needed

What is the name of your state? Ohio..... I need advice from anyone! My husband walked out in Oct. 2001, "the greener grass situation".... He filed for divorce in Dec. 2001. There are NO assets to fight over, we have one minor child, age 7************** We have followed the rules set by our county on visitation, he is paying his support (currently one month behind)...... but he will not let the divorce be final..... (All visitation/transportation on his end is force fed and handled by his mother, whom he lives with in a very small 2 bedroom apt.) I have moved on, relocated and want to continue on with my life, but he is holding my future hostage...????? My attorney is best buddies with his attorney I am told? I am $3500 deep into this divorce and have gotten nowhere? My question is, where do I go from here? How can I get this final and move on? What points do I need to bring up to my attorney or others? Should I get a new attorney? (I hate to think about that given how dep I am in with this one already?) Advice, direction, anything would be appreciated! (County in Ohio is Fairfield)
