Order to Show Cause in WA

What is the name of your state? WA

I'm an out of state Pro Se Respondent to a dissolution in Washington state.

I am trying to get a hearing scheduled in the court and was told by the Clerk what day, time, and room to include.

I drafted a Motion/Declaration for the Show Cause Order as well as the Order to Show Cause.

The form for the Order that I have has a place for the Judge/Commisssioner to sign. I called the Clerk back and she told me that I need to send $20 to have someone at the court "Present" the Order for the Commissioner to sign.

Is there some other way to notify the court and the other party of a hearing? I've seen a form called a Ex Parte Note for Hearing Issue of Law that didn't require the Judge/Commissioner to sign.

I am trying to get a hearing scheduled for a TRO that was filed in Feb. but had the hearing continued without a set date. I am also trying to get a hearing to determine a temp parenting plan.

Thanks!
