The other woman...

I am in the state of North Carolina. I heard from someone that you can actually sue the other individual involved in adultery with your spouse. Is this true and what is this legally called?

suing someone for alianation of affection is costly and at the best, a hell of a long shot. and although I'm not up on your state's statutes, most states have repealed such.

Forget it and move on. After all, if he's gone to her all she got was a cheating A-hole and you won.

Yes, you can sue for “alienation of affection” and/or “criminal conversation” in North Carolina.
