What is the name of your state? New Jersey
My husband and I are considering separation, his name is on the deed to our house, but he signed a notarized letter saying he does not want anything else to do with the house. Can I get his name removed from the deed and subsequently the loan on the house? I am the main borrower as I make a substantial higher amount of income than he does and he is listed as the co-borrower. I plan on selling my house in a year and don't want any problems from him even if we stay together. What should I do?

tks
