Question

Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence

What is the name of your state? indiana

I have a Conditional Permanent Residency based on marriage which will expire on September 23, 2006. i need to apply for a petition to remove it in one week, but we are in a divorce process right now. what do i do? and what is the best way to do it?

also I have read somewhere about that and it says: "...You may not file for the waiver until after your marriage has been terminated".
i am worried what happens if my green card will be expired & i will be asked leave the country.
i do not know when I will get the divorce.
thanks.
Angelika.

You need a consult with an immigration attorney.
