What is the name of your state? Illinois

I got married with an US citizen 2 1/2 years ago, I already have the permanent green card. But our marriage is not getting well:(. I left everything for this man, my family everything and he treats me with disrispect and we fight all the time. My daughter (6y.o) always assists to our fights(even though I tell him to stop doing it while she is around) and we are really menthal abused.I started to take anitdepressants (he doesn't know that). His family can't stand me and I don't have any contact to them anymore, I'm tired of being humiliated. He cheated on me ''online'' at least 3 times now and I have all the emails and the archives with those ladies(very digusting , they used to masturbate together online). His brother sent him nasty emails about me and I have those too. Besides that, once I got here in the US, I found out that he lied to me. He has enuresis and he is also impotent. In a word, he played me. We got married in my country and everything was alright and I had no clue about all these. I also have found it out that he ordered online Viagra before our wedding and he probably used it to convince me he is very potent. Now he takes Paroxetine but it doesn't help anyways. My question is: If I will apply for divorce are these a good proof at the court? I'm afraid If I divorce now I could be deported. but I'm legally and I married him coz I loved him. But I cannot take it anymore.
Thank you. What is the name of your state?

You do not need to have serious grounds to get a divorce. Therefore, that is not an issue.
You already have your permanent green card, therefore you also cannot be deported unless you commit a serious crime. Please consult with a local attorney. You will need one.

Question

Thanks for the reply.

Is it better for me to apply for the divorce or let him do it?

In general, its shouldn't make much difference. However, discuss that with the attorney that you consult, as the details of your situation could effect that.
