Please help! after filing can divorce be delayed for a short time

What is the name of your state?
Indiana
Do I need to file anything to wait past the 60 day required wait time for the final hearing or just not file it till I am ready. How long can it be postponed? I have financial issues and health issues to complete before the final decree. I am not using an attorney
