What is the name of your state? Florida

What exactly is the attorney-in-fact allowed to do? Can a married person give power of attorney to someone other than their wife? What rights does the spouse maintain in relation to their husband if he has given power attorney to someone else? If the husband was to die is the power of attorney canceled?

How about specifics? Power of attorney is not good after the person dies. yes a married person can give power of attorney to someone other than their spouse. What rights they maintain depends on what the POA states.

I posted the story earlier of my dying step-dad. It looks as though he has given power of attorney to a friend. She just wants to know what this person can do.
