How is property acquired (such as furniture) while living together separated in a divorce? We purchased a lot for the house we were building at the time. We had separate checking accounts, I was paying for rent (what I could afford at the time). My boyfriend/fiance used his credit card to buy the furniture, etc. Am I entitled to ask for any of it?
