My fiance has been divorced since November 2002 but never did a property settlement. It took it upon himself to pay off their mutual debt. Is it too late to hold her accountable?

little confusing here, but if he did not acknowledge all of the debt at the time of the divorce and he knew about the debt, this is a dead issue.
