What is the name of your state? I live in Massachusetts and had a quadro of my 401k distributed recently. The problem is the 50/50 distribution split is more like 70/30. I contracted with an accountant to crunch the numbers and his math confirmed what I suspected. At this point what recourse do I have to retrieve the overpayment that was made to my x-wife?

If the 401k account administrator did not follow the QDRO, call them and tell them where they screwed up.
