Question about Stimulus Money

I share 50-50 joint custody of my 6 year old son with my ex wife. He spends exactly half of the year with me, and we alternate years claiming him on our taxes. She claimed him for 2007. I feel that I am entitled to half of the $300 stimulus money paid for him. Am I wrong?

APologize to the person you called a jerk -- Fair -- and I might answer. Rudeness is not acceptable from people asking for help.

Nothing stated by me should be taken as giving you legal advice or forming an attorney/client relationship. The devil is in the details after all.

So, in defense of fair, even thought I know the answer I won't give it.

OP - I suggest highly that you apologize cuz several of us know the answer to your questions. It's just not polite to name call on people who you want answer from.

Name calling is not an effective means of communication and expression for an adult making an inquiry to obtain free advice.

All: Apparently the 6 yo child is the author of the posted question. Thus, he should be advised that we do not respond to children and to have his parent post any questions.

Have a good day.

Telling someone that they need to post their own thread to ask a question is not being a jerk. Its following the forum rules.
