What is the name of your state? CA.

I signed a quit claim deed on our house to my husband a couple years ago. My name is still on the mortgage. If we refinance the house does that x-out the quit claim deed?

I'm trying to decide if my husband has to refinance the house if my name will be put back on if I include myself in the refi.

**A: no a deed and a mortgage are two totally separte and distinct things. Do more research.

**A: it would be really up to the lender and most require mortgagors to be on title.
