Question
in texas, what are the remarriage laws? how long do you have to wait after the divorce is final? my ex is already engaged, and we aren't even divorced yet!!!!!!
please advise

hmmmmm!!!!! I seem to have started something here!

I only checked with Houston. They state:

Remarriage After Divorce

In most cases, you must wait thirty (30) days but the court can grant a waiver to permit you to marry sooner.


In case anyone else is interested, just give your marriage licensing place a ring!
