Residence during divorce

I purchased a home 8 days prior to my marriage. It is in my name only, and we have only been married 8 months. No legal action has been started but my question is who has the right to live there during a divorce? Can I kick my spouse out? Can she kick me out? I am in California. There has been no physical abuse, alchoholism, adultery, etc.. just extreme incompatibility,criticism, etc.
