What is the name of your state? Texas

I have a friend who has just been served divorce papers last Tuesday and is due in court tommorrow at 9 AM for a restraint hearing. She has no idea what they are going to tell her. She has to represent herself and her husband has a lawyer with him. What should she do?

She should probably ask that it be postponed until she can hire an attorney. No matter what, she has to attend that hearing.

My response:

She should show up. As far as what "they are going to tell her" is concerned, we don't know either. I imagine we'll all find out when she goes to court, and you write back to tell us.
