What is the name of your state? Nevada

My wife and I are filing divorce. I am a legal resident of Nevada, now. But we lived in Utah, 2 months ago, together. I am being told by an attorney that becuase I have children, I must file in UTAH because they are UTAH residence, even though they have lived with me since I have moved to NEVADA. Is this true?

Second, reading UTAH law it states that I can file after 90 days of not living with my wife for seperation and then I must wait 3 years before we can be seperated. Even if it is uncontested. A lawyer said I can be divorced in UTAH within 6 weeks. Is this true? Thank you for your time.

  :( :)
