Notice of severance of Joint Tenacy (uk)
Please can you explain the following to me?
"I hereby give you noticeof my desire to sever as from this date the joint tenacy and equity of and in the property described in the scheduel hereto now held by you and me as joint tenants both at law and in equity so that hence forth the said property shall belong to you and me as tenants in common in equal shares."
This is a document that I have received from a solicitor as my Husband and I are now seperated and he is living in the home with our 3 children.
Please let me know what this means if possible?
