Selling the House

What is the name of your state? NJ.

Me and my wife own a house together, do to our age over 70

we have difficulty keeping up with our house physically and

financially, do to medical conditions and old age. I would like to sell

our house but she will not going along. We are not talking about divorce here.

Is there a way I can sell this house with out her consent ???
Can I get a court order to sell the house or put the house on my name some how ??

Thanks JB

it may be advantageous- and meet both of your needs to look into a reverse mortgage

why does she not want to sell?

No, you cannot sell the house without her consent nor get a court order to put the house into your name only....UNLESS you have legal grounds to prove her incompetent.

Want to bet!!
Very likely that if you sell HER home without her permission, your next legal process WILL be in family court!!

Yep. Wait for her to die... then you can sell the home (that is assuming that she leaves her ownership to you).

Very unlikely.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
