Separation question

What is the name of your state? Illinois

All assets (car, house) are in my name, DH hasn't worked since we got married (he stayed home with the kids - I make more than he could or it would have been reversed).

If we separate, or divorce, is he entitled to anything? Like support? Most likely his son (from his first marriage) would go with his ex or her mother, our daughter would stay with me.

I would sell our home and buy a smaller one (we live in a manufactured home and there are some new ones in our community), sell the car and get a smaller one, too.

I am also due a pretty decent inheritance in the fall - can he get any of it? (whether we are married or not)

I don't even know if it will come to separation or (goddess forbid) divorce. I've just recently discovered some unsavory behavior on his part and want to know what my options are before/if it comes to that.
