What is the name of your state? Texas
I know nothing about seperation. I have a few questions.
I did read the other posts on seperation.

1. How long can you be legally seperated?
2. What do you do if you get back together?
3. We have a child and another on the way.
How would they be involved in the terms of seperation?
(if there are terms)
4. How do I get a legal seperation?
5. What are the advantages/disadvantages of getting a
seperation?

Thank you!

If Texas is anything like Wisconsin (community property state), a separation acts almost identically to a divorce. However, if you change your mind you cn petition the court to vacate the order. Also, if you have been legally separated for a year, you can have the separation order converted to a divorce. A separation order can set child support, alimony , visitation, property settlement, etc.
