What is the name of your state? Virginia.

I am currenty married and living in Virginia. My husband can be quite mean to me and the kids at times, we have 2 kids. I am from Missouri originally. I want to leave and go back home. He has no interest in keeping the kids or even one. My question is this, we have 2 cars and they are both in his name due to credit. If I was to use one of these cars to leave and get back to missouri could he report the car stolen? If so would I get in trouble even though we are married? He has threatened that if I leave in one of the cars he will do so.
I have got to get the kids out of the situation, please help with this question.

Sure, he could report it stolen. However, it wouldn't get very far.

Good luck.
