What is the name of your state? Minnesota

My wife and I are in the process of getting a divorce. At some point in the near future, I am going to be served papers. I just lost my job, so it will take a little bit before I am able to fully retain an attorney. This case will be handled in Dakota County. Couple of questions:
How long is it usually between the papers served date and the court date?
Can I get more time to get the funds together for an attorney?
If I can get more time, what can I expect: a couple weeks? a month? more?

Thanks for your time.
