Settlement Agreement Ignored

What is the name of your state? GA, CA, NY

Divorce occured in GA. Ex-Husband moved to CA and remarried. Wife moved to NY. In property settlement, Ex-husband agreed to pay 100K in equal payments ($1600/month) over 5 years, plus 1000/month alimony plus continue her salary and benefits ($3500/month) that she had with the company they started and owned. He got to keep the company, which was doing well and has grown. After 1 year, he stopped paying the salary and benefits. She sued for contempt in GA and won, including $10,000 legal fees (she owes $14,000). He still refusees to pay, and has also stopped the $1600 monthly payments. He has stopped making all payments related to the property settlement, and only makes the child support and alimony payments. GA lawyer says there is nothing he can do, need to get a CA lawyer.

Husband claims company is doing bad, he is not collecting a salary but it is more likely he is hiding income. He bought his house in his wifes name, and has bank accounts in his wifes name, and the GA lawyer says that is bad because she cannot go after those assets.

The main question is, can he be compelled to pay or can he play these games of hiding income and assets and dodge this for years? She can't afford to keep paying lawyers to chase for the money. Is there some point where his behavior becomes criminal?

Thanks in advance for any new ideas or suggestions!

First, your GA attorney is incorrect. California is a community property state, so any assets (including 'her' house) that are acquired during their marriage can be pursued.

"The main question is, can he be compelled to pay or can he play these games of hiding income and assets and dodge this for years?"
*** Can go on and on and on... virtually forever. I would suggest you have a California attorney (or Judgment Enforcer) domesticate the GA judgment into California and go after him.
Go to: http://www.enforcemyjudgment.com/njn/cgi/search.cgi?action=search&infield=your_state&words=California&search=Search
and find one close to him.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
