What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?Kansas If I married in Kansas, live in Kansas, worked and earned retirement in Missouri, does my husband have 50/50 rights to half my Missouri retirement?

Yes, unless those retirement benefits accrued prior to the marriage. Otherwise it is irrelevant that you worked in another state.

Actually, he would get 50/50 rights to ALL of your retirement if it was all marital. (50/50 rights to half as you've suggested would be only 25% of the total).

Of course, you could offset that with half of the marital portion of his retirement.
