What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? missouri

How do you go about getting a divorce if your spouse's where abouts are unknown? He left 8 months ago and I have no clue where he is?

You really need an attorney for this one. You have to make a decent effort to find him and if you cannot, service by publication is possible, with the approval of the court.
