What is the name of your state? california
Ok now I'm really confused.....
I don't have anything that says "proof of service" or a signature. I received a copy of the file in the mail. He said he has the originals and mailed in the POS papers. If I don't have a copy of the POS papers can I get one? Am I supposed to receive only copies? I feel so stupid right now. I can't afford an attorney but I know I can get free advice from the courthouse.
I am NOT contesting the dissolution and we have agreed upon all the possesions we are splitting. I just don't want to default and screw myself. As long as being in default means that I'm not contesting anything and we agreed I'm ok.
ALSo, Does it make a difference on what he put down as the date of separation and what the real date is?
Thanks for your help....please don't fight over this one.
