What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

My sister parted ways w/Atty (mutually agreed). Atty sent her letter (possibly FL 955) and filed with court, but says my sis has to file an MC-050. My question is can sis simply complete the MC - 050 w/o atty signature and attach the atty's letter and serve in accordance with proof of service requirements?

Yes.
Unless she has a 'new' attorney, she would mark line 2 as 'representing self' and
check the appropriate party status at line 3.
