I live in NJ and have been divorced since mid March of '16. The divorce settlement was shoddy at best and didn't mention our deeded timeshare as a mutual asset. I have been making all the payments on it since our separation which was July of last year and can't afford to pay anymore. Can I sue my ex and make her pay her half? I was also considering gf out of the property all together but that requires money and her to sign off on it because she is on the deed. Can I seek legal action to make her sign or take sole ownership?
