tranferrance of 401K

Massachusetts - I am now divorced from my spouse. The 401K that my spouse controlled was determined by the courts to be 50% mine. My spouse has stated, they have done everything that they need to do to get the 401K money in my control. They said they filed a quottropaper (pardon spelling as not sure how to spell that). My lawyer says that he has done all that he can do as the company in question refuses to respond or return any of his phone calls. This has been going on for over a year and it is a considerable amount. At this point my ex has control over this as I cannot touch the money as the company will not respond to my lawyer, but my spouse says she has done everything. Can you help me with this as to who is correct and how do I get the portion of the 401K that belongs to me into my control and out of my ex's. It does not seem to be an issue to my lawyer as it is being pushed back to me to get my ex to respond.

Thank you in advance.
