What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I am married to a soon to be post op Transexual. We are seperated now, but here's my question, since he will be getting his birth certificate changed stating that he is a woman. Since same sex marriage are illegal. Wouldn't that make our marriage null and void. Also, if this is true, would I have to do to have this done.
I hope you can help.

Thanks, Star
