undisclosed previous marriage

undisclosed previous marriage What is the name of your state? Florida. Approximately 14 years ago two people were married and the alleged groom was still married to someone else. I understand that the marriage was not legal and it is void. Was the female free at that moment to remarry? If she had remarried is this second marriage illegal? The alleged husband never took care of the paperwork. Since that first marriage was illegal, is everything alright or is there a bureacratic mess unsuing?

My response:

If you're talking about the "second" marriage where you "understand that the marriage was not legal and it is void", then you couldn't be more wrong. It's not void or voidable until a judge says so. Remember, there's a Marriage Application and a Marriage Certificate out there that says the man and woman are married, despite the fact that the "groom" never got a divorce from his first wife. All because he was still married, that doesn't make the Certificate of Marriage just disappear! So, under the law, she is still married to the groom and her subsequent marriage is bigamous.

I certain hope somebody reports both of these people to the DA for prosecution.

Want to get married

I am a Filipino tourist here in US. While on tour, i accidentally met my ex girlfriend who is currently working here with an L1 visa.
We loved each other so much that we have a daughter there in the Philippines.
I can't marry her there in the Philippines because i am very well married and also have a daughter to my wife. My question is that, Can we get married here in US? What are the necessary documents needed for this?
Please advice. Thank you...
