void marriage?I live in Texas and married a foreigner 3 years ago to avoid his deportation. He decided to return to Finland 2weeks after the marriage. I have no way of contacting him. What would be faster a divore or annulment???? Or is it considered void? |

| I didn't see anything in the facts you listed that would make the marriage void. I also didn't see anything in the facts you listed that would be grounds for an annulment. From what you wrote, it appears that divorce is the way to go. And you can divorce someone without contacting him. You can do service by publication. At least in Indiana, you can. I imagine there are also provisions for that in Texas as well. |
