What is the name of your state?California
Hello,
In the middle of last year my wife took our joint savings of 10k and bought herself a new SUV. At or around that time she retained an attorney. We then entered conseluling and by October had began a 3 mo. "structured" separation. She moved out with all of her things. I have not been served. I have stopped contributing to IRA's and canceled credit cards.
1. What else should I do to protect myself?
2. At ant point did her actions or our separation relieve me from her auto loan or any new debts she might incur?
Thank you
mc z
